GM class action alleges vehicles with Hydra-Matic 8L90 transmission have defects

A group of 13 consumers claims certain transmissions in General Motors vehicles from the last decade are defective and can create unsafe driving conditions, according to a new GM transmission class action.

Not just those. The six speed in my Colorado is a POS too. I have to put it in trailer tow mode manually every time I want to drive in the 35 to 50 MPH range to keep it from shuddering and stalling.

If I have an 8 speed transmission that didn't mess up, I would suspect it wasn't using all of it's gears!!
