A lot of them are just ignorant and naive.

Yes, the Democratic leadership wants to disarm the public. And I know why.

This guy Stevens is a Republican (INO), but that doesn't mean much.

Justice Stevens doesn't have a conservative bone in his whole body. Definitely a liberal to the core and not just on the 2nd Amendment but on reducing State's Rights, eliminating the death penalty, Affirmative Action, etc.

That's why we need to have real Americans as President like Reagan or Trump and not so called moderates and Globalists like the Bushes or hard core leftists like Obama, Hillary and all the other commie loving national Democratic Party leaders.

Stevens was appointed by Ford a "moderate" and both Bush's appointed moderates Souter and Roberts to the court. We need strict Constitutionalists on the court not those who ignore the Constitution. Thank you very much

That would be the end of the Republic and the beginning of the Civil War. I don't see enough states ratifying it now to pass, but unfortunately, the whiners on the other site are correct, these idiot kids *will* be voters soon and we can only hope they grow up before they do damage they will regret later.

I just cannot understand how someone could look around at all the evil in the world and think that any government that relies on the "goodness" of all those under will survive? Just because that person may not want power doesn't mean that someone else won't and we as a people better be ready to stop them. A book I read recently had the USA have a coup in the late 2050's and a fundamentalist dictatorship form. Twenty years ago I'd laughed at the idea. Now, I'm not so sure. (Fundamentalist could be religion or environmentalism, or globalism, you name it.)
 
JFTR...your right to self defense is a gift of birth as a person. Government did not Grant you that right and cannot legitimately take it away.
 
There are probably a number of issues that the federal govt could take away fundamental rights of citizens... and get away with it.

IMO if the federal govt tried to take away gun rights...
We may well see Civil War 2.0...
And this time the North would loose!

IMO the ONLY way a govt is gonna dis-arm the USA citizens...
Would be with foreign troops (which, BTW, is legal, thx to BHO).
However I suspect a lot of places... local LE types would side with American citizens against the foreign troops.

I truly hope it never comes to this...
As I really do not want our country to go through that mess.
OTOH... if that is what it takes to get folks woken up enough to learn to:

Well... the USA has survived worse.

Still I really hope (and pray) we never have to go there!
