Holy cow!! This is going to really hurt our business more. Well, that is if we get any work. And there is still a moratorium on off shore drilling in the Gulf. Does anyone else think this is planned???

Our fuel bill runs $8000-$10'000 a month as it is, an increase like that would hurt bad.
 
Isn't there something in the socialist agenda that makes eveyything a crisis so it has to be handled, right now, today, it's an emergency!!!
 
I was reading an article this morning where a former Shell Oil exec says gas will most likely reach $5 gallon by the end of 2012 if we don't increase our own oil production. Apparently, OPEC has no plans to increase their oil production. We need to start putting pressure on this administration to authorize the increase of production to keep up with our own demand. I predict if we increase our oil productivity, OPEC will then increase theirs to get us to go back to lower production levels. It happened before.
 
Don't you all see what is coming?......................This communist/socialist in office wants to do what his brother in Venezuela did. He wants to nationalize the oil companies and he can do that if prices get out of control. He'll have the public demanding to have the heads on a platter. We need to keep the revolution going in 2012 and not get complacent. Vote this anti American political thug out of office.
 
The term would be nationalize when the government takes over a company. I was discussing my opinion with some friends the other day how I thought the Dems wanted to do this with the oil company. Currently, we have no other choices in alternative energy to fuel our vehicles, which then would make us dependent upon the government if they took over the oil companies. It would be unconstitutional if they took them over, but the Dems would disagree saying it was a national emergency.

I seriously doubt that when the next Congress is seated after the first of the year the Republicans would go for such a thing, neither would the majority of the populace. Any move by the government to nationalize the oil companies to drive up prices would cause public turmoil.

It's insane that we don't utilize the resources available to us....right under our feet and off shore. Two more years (I can only hope and pray) of this insane behavior before there is a chance that a president with a backbone will do something about it.

I know you didn't know what you were thinking when you said that, and that's why I corrected you. :)) I hope you didn't hurt yourself while you were trying to think of the word nationalize. Glad I could help you out though buddy. I know you'd do the same for me. ;D
