Well, since we can't count on GA to be conservative anymore... I guess it is good that Texas will gain two new seats in the House of Representatives, while New York, California and several Midwest states will lose seven seats in a shift of political clout to Republican strongholds before the 2022 midterms.

I don't think Collins is a viable candidate in this state at this time. He is too conservative, too white, too establishment to appeal to the demographics of this state. The influx around the state especially metro Atlanta of liberal refugees from blue states has changed the statewide election demographics to the point that any candidate is going to have to appear no farther right than moderate. I could vote for him but I don't think he is viable statewide. On a local/county level being a conservative is still a good platform but not statewide.
