Donald Trump Commutes Democrat Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s Jail Sentence

A scumbag is a scumbag, no matter how long (or short) a sentence is served.
 
Some on Facebook seemed to think the Dems set the guy up. I don't recall enough to remember the details.
 
Trump seems to form personal relationships with all sorts of people. Blagojevich was on the Apprentice years ago and I guess they formed some kind of friendship. Trump places a high priority on personal relationships and especially loyalty. He really values if not demands loyalty from others, but he also seems willing to reciprocate with those that he feels have his back.

I think you are right.

I would let the arrogant SOB rott. He took advantage of his office, showed how swampy politics could be if not prosecuted for crap like that. What good is it to let him off ... others will demand Pay to Play thinking they can "get away with it."
 
I would have left him in prison.

His comment about his freedom stolen from him, maybe he shouldn't have committed any crimes if he didn't want his freedom taken away. Commuting his sentence is rewarding his insolence.

Apparently the 8 years behind bars he never once reflected on his actions that led him to the situation he was in.

He will go on to do more of the same. He is a corrupt individual. I am sure he will be welcomed on the TV news shows.

I do wonder if he will roll over on the Dems in Chicago.... that bastion on slime that Blago fit so well.
