Did Trump really make the sh!thole comment?

You can bomb the shit out of shithole countries and nobody gives a shit.

You can't send illegal aliens back to their shithole countries because their countries are shit and they might die from that.

But you call a shithole country a shithole country and all of a sudden you're a racist shitass.

Did he say it? Yup. Was it uncalled for? Yes again. Folks it was unbecoming of the office, and it was a very crude generalization of many of the places where a large number of chain migrants come from. You can't honestly look at places like Haiti and Sudan and not think that term. You cannot look at the majority uneducated critically poor there and not at once be both sympathetic to their plight and cautious about their impact on our resources and society. Whether or not we are to take on that burden is a matter of debate, but whether or not their immigration both legal and otherwise is indeed a burden on our systems is quite clear. He told a great truth in what was certainly the worst way possible. We need to look at the purpose(s) of immigration and realize that we must be both compassionate and practical.We cannot welcome the entire third world.

Money that goes to them from us and other countries to help the people, never make it to the people. Instead it goes into the pockets of the government officials. Aid in the form of food and clothing that goes to those countries from other countries and charitable organizations seldom make it to the people either, as their government officials will sell it to line their own pockets.

The people in those countries want to leave them because they become tired of living in a shithole. What they need to be doing is working to overthrow their oppressive governments to turn their shithole into something a lot nicer.

Yep... you know why they want to leave... but then they arrive and want it to be just like back home.

For instance: you leave the middle east, then get here and in a few years demand Sharia Law and courts. There is a reason our country was the land of prosperity ...our constitution. We aren't supposed to have 2 court systems... well we do have the 9th circuit ... but I digress. :whistle:

Money can't fix their country... but it is required to help them re-settle wherever they end up.

In either case, Trump has altered what is "presidential" and what is not...and it is his prerogative to do so.
