At least once a week, I get a call from someone that says their computer is slow and/or freezing. My first question is if they have rebooted. Despite the same people making these calls multiple times over the years, the answer is always 'no, not yet'. Sigh.
I’m a slow learner and it’s a 800 number.

It is a good solution to a point, but I had one tech tell me I needed to reboot every morning to fix an obvious memory leak issue in one of the IT apps they loaded. When reboot becomes a crutch to fixing real issues, then it becomes an issue itself. The OS should be able to run for at least a week without a reboot or the config is crap.
