You have to ask yourself why Trump's inner circle would be pissed about this. Do they plan on running Jared Kushner in 2028?

I suspect it's all in how you ask the question.

Trump won the primary in Florida handily, and was leading DeSantis considerably even when Ron was still in the race. So Florida voters clearly favored Trump this time around.

I expect DeSantis will be a leading candidate in 2028 if he still wants the job.
