In todays America, every psychosis, every "alternative" choice, and every screwed up way of life must be pandered to and something given from the public sector to accommodate their sickness. Instead of getting the right psychological help, we must turn over all of the societal norms in order to make sure nobody is feeling left out or isolated. It will be the downfall that all of us know is coming.

Hmmm, there are times in history when people thought dating outside their religion was an alternative choice. Oh wait, there was that dating outside of your race alternative lifestyle too. People thought that was a screwed up way of life and sick. Back then it was said it was the downfall of society when things changed. They were wrong.

That is rich. My statement was not belittling to the poster, and I do not believe he would have taken it that way. (I am pretty sure he laughs at, rolls his eyes, and ignores most of my posts.) It was to point out that views on people and what is and is not acceptable do change. We would not think about or blink seeing many things now that once would have caused a massive uproar. Either people forget that or the chose to ignore it. Pointing that out is not belittling, maybe sarcastic, as is many here at times.
Funny thing is, I am probably more conservative than many people you know.
I just chose not to be in others bedrooms or believe their sex (life) impacts my life negatively, want to kill all Muslims or think the world is ending because of times changing, but whatever.

That reminds me of a few questions I like to ask those who I consider "Progressives" (not directed at anyone here, just in general): To where are we progressing, how will we know when we've arrived, and has nothing in the past been good enough to keep?
