Daughter Reacher\'s last day

We went to eat on Friday night at Huey Luey's for Daughter Reacher's last weekend working there. She's a fabulous girl and they begged her to stay, but alas she must move on to a job with more reasonable hours that will work better with her studies.

But that place has some really good food and is pretty much top notch as far as Mexican food goes. We even tried their ice cream and cinnamon stick dessert. Ummmm, Goooood!

Daughter Reacher and us are thankful to them for giving her the opportunity to work there. We will continue to support them and eat there often. She didn't know I was going to snap a pic of her taking our order.

They do have good grub!

They were lucky to have her there for awhile, and she probably gained some good experience from it. The restaurant biz is tough, but there's no better place to learn people skills and how to multi-task.

Good luck to Daughter Reacher in her new job.

Thanks. I had often wondered how she would do in the work force. I think most parents wonder that as their children get older. I was very proud to see her great work ethic and attitude. I believe those are two of the most important atributes of an employee. At least any employee in any line of work that has a desire to go places and move up. There are too many young people and even adults that have such poor attitudes toward their work. What they obviously don't realize or in some cases, don't care, is their history follows them arounf like dog's tail. Just because their current job is not their "dream job", they seem to think their poor attitude and work ethic won't affect the possibility of getting that dream job one day.
