Comcast stinks

Several years back I switched from AT & T to Comcast. The main reason was customer service. When you'd call AT & T, you were on hold forever and then somebody from Tokyo or Bangladesh would answer and try to help. The language barrier made it impossible to have simple questions answered.

I switched to Comcast and for the most part have been satisfied, but lately my bill keeps going up for no reason. I haven't added any channels or rented any movies, etc. Up Up Up. ...my bill keeps going up. Almost $200 per month for cable/phone/internet sucks.

HELP PLEASE.....Which company can deliver phone/internet/cable without a hassle and without charging me out the wazoo?

They all suck. I'm paying about the same to Comcast monthly. In most cases, the only options are AT&T and Comcast so you pretty much have to deal with one of them.

Heck, even customer service with AT&T business service is bad. We've done 2 upgrades at work over the last 3 years and both times they seem to forget to disconnect the old circuits and keep charging us. Then it takes months to get the bills right.

Comcast's product is quite good, but their service and personnel often sucks.

More options are coming. Google fiber will offer blazing speeds, and Space X is promising speedy wireless almost everywhere.

In the mean time, check with the cellular providers for internet. The big guys sometimes offer great deals on cellular internet service for home.

My personal fav for TV is DirecTV. AT&T hasn't screwed them up just yet.

I'd disagree with that. We stopped DirectTVNow (AT&T Now) because they kept bumping up the rates, and the support/service kept going down. We switched to PlaystationVue .. and of course they are pulling the plug in a couple of weeks. Now I'm shopping around ... and the AT&T product is the worst case option

We will be cutting the cord very soon. We currently have Xfinity (Comcast) and our bill jumped to over $250 a month this month of which $60 is for internet. We have 5 boxes but only standard cable channels, no premium or movie channels. We regularly watch less than 15 channels out of the 3000. We will be getting some Roku bars and a few streaming services, I just know very little about which to get.

Rates have gone up. But we still enjoy the content very much.

It's really a shame AT&T bought them, DirecTV was one of the few truly great companies out there.

I have ATT dsl which is all I can get out here in the sticks. It is the worst, 5megs down, 44k up.
It goes out as soon as power goes off. I have a generator, but no internet. The batteries are bad in the dslam
that feeds the area, and att refuses to fix. The only way I have got them out here after days without internet
was to call the FCC and file a complaint. If everyone would file a complaint about them maybe they
would be forced to improve.
If someone knows of a good service here in Paulding that doesn't require cable (not available here) or ATT
I would like to know about it.
