Christmas Eve Dinner...

Most years we cook a big fancy Italian feast,
but this year I am really craving fried chicken.

(Really burned out on my endless
supply of lovely tender deer meat...)

What are you cooking for Christmas Eve dinner,
I am seriously thinking KFC or Publix Chicken ? ? ?

Blasphemy!!! How can you say such a thing? Especially around those of us that are thus far without any for the year.

Fried chicken, dressing, baked beans, mashed taters, deviled eggs, congealed salad (I could eat this all by my lonesome), and some sort of cake.

Publix fried chicken is really good (and that's coming from a tried and true southern girl :)) ).

Not sure about Christmas Eve dinner. We usually spend it with some good friends of ours and they always make a HUGE pot of brunswick stew and some finger foods. I usually just take a dessert to share.

We'll have our family dinner Christmas Day with ham and all the trimmings. I think we are smoking some chicken too.

I have an empty freezer if he ever has "too much." Heck, I even process my own. He can just bring me the field dressed critter. ;D
