book recommendation

Pursuit Driver
OK - for all my griping about bad fiction, I ran across a really great book. Flat Out Love by Jessica Park. Oh em gee...very well done. Synopsis without giving anything away...girl meets odd family and...well, I don't want to say anymore. One of the best fiction books I've ever read about true love and acceptance.

Free on Kindle Unlimited, which I still can't tell if it's worth the money...authors do not like it so not a ton of popular book choices.

Sounds like a chick book. :)
But you recommended it and the price is right.

That book synopsis (not yours) did not interest my book club, we really do not like YA or romance, but we have read one of her books, a cooking murder, which was a good, quick summer read. Nothing life changing, but it was not supposed to be. :)) All of her reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads for all her books are good and there are a lot. It is not 4 or 5 stars with 50 reviews, it is hundreds if not thousands for some of her books!

I will look into it! I'm about to hop back into reading. I read "Divergent", and flew through it. But, I am struggling with the second on. I'm not liking it but really trying to.

Insurgent gets better, the third, meh.

Well, it's really not a YA book, and not really a chick book. It's more of a psychology book, I'd say. It does involve young adults and a high school kid, but also other adults. Very well-written...I did shed more than a few tears, and I'm not a book cry-er.
