Do not underestimate the possibility this is your next POTUS. The current situation in this country will mobilize the morons to a level very close to the numbers that elected the Muslim community organizer. Add the fact that DJT is so lovable and you have a disaster at the polls a real possibility.

I think some Trump supporters are a bit too confident of him winning again. There are way too many variables in place (pandemic, race relations, his tweets, etc.) to know for sure who will win especially if the Democrats end up replacing Biden or if he picks a strong VP candidate.
 
Admittedly I'm a Trumpster but make no mistake about it, he can easily lose re-election. In fact it's a fairly close 50/50 split each election cycle. With all the crap which has hit the fan in the last 90 days and with 5 more months to go he can easily lose it. Furthermore, our general citizenry never ceases to amaze me. Most would vote for a cardboard box if they thought they'd receive a bigger check.
 
They are going to have to make a huge push and presentation of Trump at the convention, and lay the blame for all of this and the Covid at the feet of the dems as attempt to Socialize the nation,,, really put the fear of God in reliable Republicans and the centrist leaners. I see the conventions as a big key to the process.

The GOP has tons of fodder from all this. The question is, do they have the sense and the balls to use it?

The opportunity is there. If DJT is half the businessman he professes to be there is an easy hire that can capitalize on the situation. Carl Rove.
