I swear, MrB and I just had the best dinner we've had in a long time. He has been working long hours and I am just tired and uninspired, lol. But, he got our Farmer's Market Basket Thursday and he stopped at West Metro today to get some steaks. So, we had:
2" thick New York strips on the Weber with salt, pepper, oregeno and a bit of extra virgin olive oil. We grilled some asparagus from the basket, I roasted some red potatoes in a cast iron skillet in the oven, and we had a spinich/lettuce salad with stawberries, cucumbers and apples from the basket also. We had it with raspberry vinegerette dressing. Oh, and some Sister Schubert rolls.
Oh my goodness. It was so delish. :slappy
From the two of us, we had one steak left, as we could only eat about half of what was on our plate, lol. I think I'll use that and the rest of the spinich from the basket to have quesadillas on Monday. Tomorrow has to be something with mangos and green beans.
