Are you looking for a way...

I'm Floored

Lover of BS!
....to help others this season?

Hope for Christmas is a non-profit in our area committed to helping families experience the joy of Christmas. The event is this Saturday (12/10).

They will provide a Christmas meal to over 2,000 families and provide toys and gifts to children of all ages for many thousands of families. They also allow children to experience what "giving" is like by providing a Secret Santa gift that they will wrap for their parents. :love

The need in our community is larger than ever. At the present time, Hope for Christmas only has enough food to fulfill half of the needs. If you can bring a bag of food, this is the list for each family: 2 cans green beans, 2 cans corn, 2 boxes cornbread mix, 2 boxes mac & cheese, 2 cans/jars gravy, 1 box dessert (brownies, cookies, etc.), 2 boxes stuffing, 2 cans yams, 1 can cranberry sauce. The churches will provide a hen for each family!

They need toys for 1-2 yr old boys and girls, 3-4 yr old girls, 5-6 yr old boys, & 7-8 yr old girls. They also need over 1,000 more Secret Santa gifts (for children to give to their parents) especially for men.

Donations can be dropped at West Ridge Church (East Paulding campus) or Super Hero Yogurt at Crossroads. If you can help, but can't get the food/toys to the donation sites, please PM me. I will meet you and drop them for you.

This is a great opportunity to bless others at this time of year. My family will all be participating. Join me, if you can!

Hope for Christmas is a wonderful organization. We've already committed to help a family in our area but I'll work on the pine cones for you.

Thank you, lady!

I posted this on FB, and a "famous" Pcommer we all know stopped by the office to make a very generous donation. I'm in AWE!
