Are there any rabbit eaters here?

I imagine you eat wild, right? Have you ever eaten farm raised?
Yep 99% I have eatten have been wild.

My buddy bought some from I *think*Food Depot one time. They were really gud, but Granny cooked them and anything she cooks is gud!

I stumbled across a local farm on 92 on the north side and picked one up this weekend. First time I've ever had rabbit and it was really good. I really like the way they do their animals there. http://www.east-of-eden-farms.com/

So you gonna eat'em or what?

I guess you missed the part where I said he was really good. ;)

For my first one, I tossed him in the crockpot. Basic, no frills, and yummy. Salt, pepper, a little water ... then some potatoes, carrots, and onion. Falling off the bone ... clean, mild taste. Without being too cliche, it really was not all that different from chicken. There was a different finish to it. Something a little stronger than chicken at the end but it was very nice. I'll probably try frying the next one I get.

Granny cooked them in a pressure cooker and then fried them, mmmm

I usually do what you did and make kindof a stew, with the veggies.
