Any Spartacus Fans?

I loved this show the first season! I watch very little TV, and can't stay interested in a show more than a week or two, lol. But I loved this one. When Andy Whitfield got sick and they did the prequel for season 2 while he was getting treatment, I was not impressed. Still watched but not he same.

So, MrB and I watched the new season ep. 1 last night. It was so sad. It's just not the same without Andy as Spartacus. The new guy isn't even buff and he's supposed to be a gladiator. LOL

Anyway, anyone else watch it? What do you think?
 
Nay...I am the dork because I haven't the vaguest idea what you're talking about. I've never even heard of this show. Sadie will be along shortly, though...she's probably seen all of them. :D :hangingmyheadinshame:

OH. Got it. Also, I don't have Starz, so that's prolly why it's missing from my brain. Although, I'm such a geek these days, my viewing is generally limited to Criminal Minds, Dirty Jobs, Top Gear, etc. I'm pitiful these days. But I'm gonna get better...as soon as my crazy life slows down the least bit...
 
Hubby and I are big fans!! Not as fond of the Spartacus replacement as we had hoped. Can't wait for Game of Thrones to start again, another one we like. If you have not caught Pillars of the Earth you need to watch it. It is from a book by Ken Follett. I read it years ago and did not expect the series to be as great as it was.
 
I can't decide of I want to continue watching... Lol I sure I will. I lurve Crixus. Haha!

I LOVE GoT! I didn't think I would, but I got caught up on it in OnDemand while feeding BabyB all through the night. I loved it, an I can't wait for it to start again!

I'll have to check out the show you recommended. What channel does it come on?
