Alec Baldwin sued by family of cinematographer killed on set

He should be sued for just being an awful human being. I am not saying it is impossible for the gun to discharge "without the trigger being pulled" like his liberalness claims but I am calling BS on his "safe" handling of the weapon. I think he cocked it and pulled the trigger or partially cocked it and let the hammer fall on the round. If it was a double action he may have just pulled the trigger but I don't think this period of gun would be double action. The worst thing is he pointed it at another human being without intending to use it. That is the cardinal sin of firearms. Regardless any of the above situations does not equate to this being "safe handling". I have been around guns since I was a child and have only had one accidental discharge. It was when my dumb ass at about 14 y.o. dropped a 1930's model S&W .32 revolver on the hammer with a live cartridge in the cylinder. This model has the firing pin attached to the hammer so the impact caused the pin to set off the primer. A revolver without the hammer pulled back is almost impossible to fire unless it has a hard impact like me dropping it hammer first or banging it against a hard object. His refusal to train the draw with this weapon shows his arrogant personality to a tee.
