GOP rep claims in Ingraham exclusive Afghan evacuees held at Va. base 'leave in Ubers'; sent letter to Blinken

Some of you remember when all the Cuban boat people arrived on our shores in Cuba. Many of them were released from Cuba's prisons and mental hospitals. 125,000 came to here. We put them in civilian internment facilities at Army bases around the the US. My MP company was sent to the one at Ft. Chafee, Arkansas just outside the city of Ft. Smith. The internment facility was a bunch of old barracks buildings with twelve foot high chain link fence with concertina wire at the top. We had MPs patrolling the outer perimeter at all times. There were even static points where MPs stood to prevent Cubans from escaping. All the internment facilities were run the same way. Essentially it was like a prison, except they could go outside anytime they wanted. They were there until the government could find sponsors for them.
I don't see why we aren't doing the same type of operation with the Afghani evacuees. What's really said is how this administration keeps lying to us. Biden told us all the Afghanis evacuated were properly vetted before they boarded a plane. Now we find out, they are doing the biometrics checks here and found more than 15 who were on the Suspected/Confirmed Terrorist list.
