Maybe Bama should think about playing some really good teams early in the season instead of the gimmies. Might get them ready to play #1 a little better.
Honestly no surprise. Bama’s defense has been suspect all season and LSU has looked better each week. I missed the entire game, was at a Sunday school social which was held in a barn with no tv and I had no cell service. I just looked at the game recap, looks like it at least got interesting in the 4th quarter.
Bama did have a comeback but they could not stop LSU once in the 4th quarter. It ended up being a good game.

Bama is still a good team but I don't think as good as some previous Saban squads. LSU is very good this year and should be in the BCS if they keep playing at the level they are now. I have already started to hear the excuses from the fervent Tide supporters that it would have been different if Tua was 100%. Maybe so but Bama D gave up 46 pts that had nothing to do with Tua. Dawgs won, Bama, Penn State lost. Dawgs should move up in the rankings. They are on track to get the reward of playing LSU in the SEC Championship. Now that's a great prize for winning the East. I am not overlooking Auburn or Texas A&M still football to play.
