I will be experiencing the California mandates soon. We are heading to L.A. to a concert on Dec 1. My wife is not vaccinated and does not plan to be. She will be able to attend the concert as they just require a negative test up to 72 hours before the event. Now as for going out to eat before or after the concert? That is a whole other issue as those are requiring proof of vaccination unless it is an outside restaurant. My guess is I will be getting food to go and take back to hotel room. Myself, I am not too keen on wearing a damn mask for a 4 hour flight and the entire time I am at the concert. I will deal with it for my kid as this concert is her dream event. I will let you know how it goes once the trip is over.
Father of the year right there! It will be worth it... even though in your core, you know it is wrong for the government to be able to mandate what Los Angeles has mandated.
I dreaded my trip to Hawaii, and in the end I am happy I went to have the memories with my kids and my brother's wedding.
To go to hawaii, before you can get on the plane, we all had to stand in a long line to upload the vax card
with our government ID, (but if they ask for ID when you vote it is racists?)
The address where you would be staying while in Hawaii, the phone number of where you would be staying, and flight information departure and return flights- and this is America?
Then they stuck a bracelet on us like at the hospital which marked us as the vaccinated. And this is America?
Then when we got off the plane to connect to the next flight the ones with a bracelet were herded into one exit, the ones without a bracelet had to go stand in the line for the "unclean" where they were monitored so they could be tracked for 10 days. And this is America?
In Hawaii, all places you go you must wear a mask. At my brother's wedding anytime you stood up they came and told you to put your mask on - we were seated outside. Seated, we could have our mask off... stand up, must put mask on... so stupid.
The covid rates are dropping quickly out here, even though the politicians are trying their hardest to convince everyone we need to be locked up again. Hopefully by December Los Angeles will have changed the rules. Even San Francisco is starting to have mask fatigue. The population is tired of this.
