He's become a multi-millionaire fairly recently, and becoming president means he'll get a nice pension, healthcare, and secret service protection for the rest of his life. His family will be set for life too. You'd think at one point Biden would do the "right" thing and just admit he's not up for the job and he's not what's best for America but that would be asking too much from a lifelong politician who has done little to nothing for the American people but has done quite well in enriching his family through politics.
That's exactly what I'm thinking. He's not campaigning because he's already been told hewonlost.
After all the recent gaffs he made, especially his energy remarks at the debate; his handlers probably send him home for damage control.
And minority, no doubt.^ This ^
get more of the women vote.
The right thing is for him to retire from politics and save the country from liberals destroying what's left of it. But again, that's asking too much. He's become a multi-millionaire fairly recently, and becoming president means he'll get a nice pension, healthcare, and secret service protection for the rest of his life. So what is the "right thing" for him?
You're thinking like a man with morals and decency. The right thing is for him to retire from politics and save the country from liberals destroying what's left of it. But again, that's asking too much.

Let's not get carried away now. I mean...I know the guy well. You are also thinking like someone who still has all his wits around him.

Well...Biden or J-man... or both....?
Any one want to start a pool as to how long he lasts before Harris and Nancy take over?
Four months.Any one want to start a pool as to how long he lasts before Harris and Nancy take over?
She would pick Sanders. If he wins, I can't decide just how arrogant those in power will be. I mean, they have obviously used Biden as their front man to try to pull in the middle of the road voters that wouldn't ever vote for a Harris / Saunders type of candidate. The question seems to be how blatant they want to make it that those voters were swindled.
If they take over the senate again and keep the house and Biden wins, he will be gone quickly. They will figure that they can booger up the voting system in two years to make sure no one but them ever controls the government again, no matter what the people want, so they don't care who gets mad. They will own the country.
If they don't get the senate and Biden wins, then I see them waiting to at least after the inauguration, maybe even six months or so, unless they have total control of him and he wants to stay. But any issues with him saying the wrong things and he's toast. Either he gets Covid, or retires due to mental issues.
Another interesting pool will be who gets to be VP? I doubt seriously harris would put an old guard into the slot. If she doesn't, who does she pick?
