The new Impossible Whopper

It's funny, I asked by vegetarian daughter if she'd tried it. She said no, it looks and tastes too much like meat and is much too greasy for her tastes.

So the Incredible whopper won't be eaten by some vegetarians because it's too much like meat. I get confused, is that irony?

It would be funny if the grease they use is really beef tallow!!!!

I wonder myself why the quest to make meat out of vegetables. If you hate meat, don't eat it.

Sort of like margarine of the 70's. We used butter in my family, but my cousins used nasty out of a plastic tub margarine. Decades later the experts said the margarine was even worse for you than butter because margarines contain trans fats. Trans fat raises LDL (bad) cholesterol significantly while lowering HDL (good) cholesterol

Then we have the great problem with corn sweeteners instead of sugar.

So, as americans try to eat more pure food, less chemically modified, why is there even a market for this fake beef? I don't get it.

My last trip to Burger King resulted in vomiting about 30 times over a 24 hour period so I think I'll pass on this Whopper and everything else they have.

It's funny, I like the Whopper, but most burger kings are the worst run places I've ever been in.

However, I have found what must be the best Burger King on the planet. At the Dublin Exit on I-16. When I walked in I felt like someone took a Chick-Fil-A and had it selling burgers as a joke. Clean, nice looking, employee said hello as I came in. Cashier was friendly and got my order right, food delivered quickly and correctly. Sitting down with my food, had two or three employees come by and ask if I needed anything. Amazing!!

And then you awakened from your dream?

I think it is a very simple end run on two things, ASPCA and the Green movement. If they get people eating veggie burgers they eliminate the need for cattle which fart so much they are making the planet warmer. Little do they know that nearly all commercial vegetables grown, (corn, beans, peas and lettuce, etc.) are GMOs!!!!

I tried it when it first came out just to see what it was like. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't that good either. I won't be getting one again. I also tried the Burger King taco. That was a waste of $1.

I think they are having hissy fits about the GMO's too. But what don't they have a meltdown over?
