The first vote on the floor at the DNC convention should be something to watch closely. By rule, the first vote is only for elected delegates and must vote as the state populous has decided. If no candidate receives 50% plus one vote, then a second vote is taken with the super delegates, and the elected delegates may vote their conscience. Watch the democratic primary to see if Joe gets more than half of the delegates in the open, and if so, will the DNC then start talking about changing the rules of the convention.
