Calhoun Police Department arrested Gordon County Deputy Coroner Christopher "Joey" Peace, 27, on suspicion of armed robbery in connection with Monday's armed robbery at Calhoun Drug Company.
On Monday, May 12, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Calhoun Police were dispatched to Calhoun Drug Company located on Red Bud Road about an armed robbery.
After CPD officers had arrived, Calhoun Drug Company employees told officers that a man dressed in dark clothing and body armor had entered the location and demanded pharmaceuticals, according to reports from the CPD.
