Rolling down the highway
I've used this bank just about since they opened. I'm pleased to see what they are doing to help Mitch Comer!! They are one of the few locally owned banks left in Paulding County.

I read about this yesterday. Where have I been? :eek: I don't remember reading about this story before. It's absolutely crazy. There is so much evil in this world!
 
I didn't realize we still had a locally owned bank. I may have to check that out. Of course, after I open MY account they'll get bought out and become a pain in the butt.
 
I hear really good things about them. Although, I LOVE my bank! I use DC Bank in town. The main location is in Douglas County (hence the DC) but they are a true small town bank. They're so good....the managers even stopped by last Christmas to bring me cake pops!
 
And I'm the lone ranger that still loves Bank of America... :love

It's the Richardson - Gingry bank. The Thigpins are in there too. Shearin is no longer on the board.

Yes, the Thigpins are there. They're good people for bankers. :)

No, we are with BofA too.
I opened an account with a local bank when I was in 6th grade. When I was in high school, the bank was bought by a little larger bank, then when I was in college it was bought by BofA.

I have thought of changing. I have not had problems like many stories I hear... but it seems any small bank gets bought out eventually! :dunno :thumbsup
