I can guarantee you the Democrats knew well before the impeachment was voted on in the House, there would be no conviction from the Senate. They want to be able to use the vote to slam the Republicans who voted against conviction because they actually believe they can flip some of those Senate seats. The Dems are such fools taking a political gamble like this when the 2022 election will most likely favor Republicans. Let the Democratic Party cut its own throat.

Now we citizens are supposed to feel sorry for congress critters who didn't give a shit about our safety this past summer?
They only endured one day, a few hours of the fear of mob violence, unlike the MONTHS of riots we watched and feared at our shopping malls and neighborhoods from the Antifa, BLM, Soros bull shit.
My grocery store malls and public streets in downtown were boarded up all summer due to riots. Like some 3rd workd shit hole...
I watched on TV those on capitol hill talk about their terror... yeah... I lived it all this summer... the whole summer... nothing like being blocked on a freeway by cops with nowhere to go knowing antifa shit heads are coming your way... or when the "mostly peaceful" protest was headed for my business and I had police surrounding the hotel and using the parking lots to stage in preparation for the "mostly peaceful" protest... no, I could care less that the capitol critters were scared as the mob got out of hand for a few hours. I wish the capitol was not breached, and instead it just was a show of how many came in support of Trump. But I have no compassion for the congress critters who now want to act like only their fear is worthy of police enforcement.
I wish they would wake up and understand if they are afraid of 75 million citizens, they are on the wrong side of history...as we were being told all summer. Truthfully, I will quote my bartender millennial... now they are listening.
You can tell from the progressive hate rhetoric and trying to impeach Trump, they know conservatives are awake and working to stop the progressive agenda. That is why all this political theater.
They understand there is a rise in anger and frustration from conservatives... they must make it a crime to uphold conservative ideas - ideas that were voiced out loud by Trump. They know they must shame anyone who supported the direction our country was moving in the Trump years... Pelosi and Schumer understand they may find themselves the minority in 2022. They are masters of the game of controlling the media narrative and getting their Dems to vote as they tell them, and making sure they all push the same talking points that they are given each day...
I hope they have outplayed their hand and instead, this impeachment blows back on them.
Heck good ol' Gavin Newsom, Pelosi's nephew... is realizing recall is imminent, he was saying the "recall is a coup"... trying to blame it on Trump too. That blew up on him
Midnight Monday, Newsom changed the lock down because the recall is really taking off with his stupid arbitrary lock down rules.
