This has been the longest week EVA!

My son has been at summer camp this week and it's been the longest week EVER! My house has been SO quiet. The girl is loving it. :laugh But I think she kinda misses him too. He's never been away for more than a night.

On a sweeter note, I've gotten word that he accepted Jesus on Tuesday. He hasn't told me yet, so I'm waiting to hear from him on that one. ray

It's been an overload of emotions all week. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. :love

I feel for you! Mine goes away for summer camp the week of July 4th. I was a wreck last month when he went away on a weekend campout, so I can only imagine how I will feel when he is gone for a week.

E hasn't been away from me for more than a night, either. And the stinker must be having the time of his life....he hasn't even called! I can't wait to see him today!!!

I E's defense, phone service has been sketchy. And, most of my calls have come after midnight. But, by all accounts, they are all having a wonderful time!

No, not brave at all. I've lived this entire week near tears (okay, crying some :'( ), with a lump in my throat and praying. ray

A few weeks ago, in a conversation with my daughter, she said I was a great Mom and she didn't know how she'd live without me. Explaining to her that one of my biggest jobs was to teach her how to live without me was hard. Just like this week. :'(
