OK true story happened yesterday at a hospital I do a lot of business with. My guys were installing AP's in the Case Management office at the hospital as a part of a much larger project. I was in the suite supervising (BS ing). Two Hispanic women one maybe 18 the other 30's ? walk in. Both with baby strollers. One baby a week old the other two weeks old. One girl was bilingual the other spoke Mexican Spanish (there is a difference). The receptionist ask if they could help them. "We are here for Medicaid" was the answer. "The doctor told us to come here and ask for Medicaid" was the next thing she said. I don't know their background but they were not from around here. How long can the productive support the non-productive? Why do you think healthcare is so damn expensive? Why do you think the ER's are filled to capacity on a daily basis with non-life threating illness? I see it often so call me whatever you want to a bigot, racist, hater I don't give a damn. I speak the truth from first hand experience. OK sorry for the high jack, yeah this chick is a delusional dumbass.

She is gonna be the court jester for the DEM party...

The pics of her with her eyes and mouth wide open... are amusing.
OTOH... the pic above... there is something not comfortable about her eyes... like the presence of evil!

We really need to restrict the voting franchise!

What has happened to our country...I guess the progressive education in this country?

OPINION
No, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 'Medicare for all' cannot be mostly financed by eliminating Pentagon fraud

The fact that Ocasio-Cortez promoted the idea that slashing Pentagon fraud could mostly pay for "Medicare for all," and further that the tweet is now approaching 67,000 likes, says something about the fantasy world that socialists are living in, and their lack of understanding of the enormous trade-offs involved in instituting their agenda.

<snip>
During the period of time mentioned (1998-2015), just over $9 trillion was spent in total on defense, according to the Congressional Budget Office's historical budget data. The Manhattan Institute's Brian Riedl went even further — noting that defense spending during the entire existence of the United States dating back to 1789 totaled $18 trillion.

Also, the estimate that extending Medicare to everybody would increase federal spending by $32 trillion (which comes from the liberal Urban Institute among other studies), is over 10 years, whereas the Pentagon spending cited by Ocasio-Cortez is over 18 years.

In reality, the CBO projects the federal government will spend just under $7 trillion on defense over the next decade (2019-2028), meaning that if the entire Pentagon budget were zeroed out tomorrow, it would still leave Ocasio-Cortez $25 trillion short. Put another way, getting rid of the U.S. military budget would only cover about one-fifth of extending Medicare to everybody over the next 10 years.

All jokes aside. This lady was elected.....and apparently by real voters. That should scare the heck out of everyone.

(Yes, I realize the same thing could apply to Trump)

Just my opinion here... and not meaning to start a focused discussion...

The difference between Ms Cortez and President Trump...

Is Trump is moving America towards what she used to be... by following the leadership of the founders, through the founding documents of our country...
While Ms Cortez is trying to destroy the country for personal gain.

One is a seasoned professional and quite successful businessperson, who has rough edges...
The other is a spoiled child who would turn on her own mother if it meant gain for her.

There is, IMO, a HUGE difference between the two!

Edit (added thought): I just wish the public could stop with the emotional stuff... and see the larger picture.
IMO the public would see (to some degree)... that Trump and company are not the bad guys. Not always the good guys, but definitely not the bad guys the MSM and left want the public to think.
IMO... if the left attempts their radical stuff in the House next year... the message will be clear.
OTOH... if the left in the House attempts to portray a middle/road image (which they have faked before)... they may well fool some voters.
Politics is a messy game... one lesson we all should understand: NEVER trust ANY polecat!

Agree, I just wanted to beat people to the expected Trump punch.

(But someone please delete his Twitter account. If only for the sake of the markets).

Yeah... his twitter account is a two edged sword...

On the one hand... he causes trouble with it...

On the other hand... the media cannot lie, mis-represent, spin, ignore, etc... what he tweets out!

It is, IMO a powerful tool... which is not always used in a way that is good for all of us.

IMO... I suspect Trump and Xi are in private communication about trade issues... and it is quite possible (IMO) Trump thought he needed to remind Mr Xi of the consequences of a lightweight attempting to play hardball with a seasoned winner.
I remember when rocket-boy tried to spar with Trump... we know who won that one... :)

Yeah... my portfolio took a hit yesterday... however IMO over the larger picture... we are all gonna be better off if China is held to task.
Like the tooth-ache and root canal I mentioned in another thread... pain comes up front, healing comes afterwards.

I am not even so sure she wants the gain.

She has been privy to an education that has twisted her reference to the USA and taught what people feel, not what has occurred historically. Kids now are taught to a test, some facts. They do not study history. They are told stories of the oppression that was caused by certain wars, not why the war occured, or what was going on geopolitically... and if they ever get into that it is through a lens socialism is great.

She is specimen number one of the product our schools have groomed through progressive curriculum and teachers,

Remember she has an elite education (read that liberal education.) Ocasio-Cortez attended Yorktown High School, She studied at Boston University, receiving degrees in economics and international relations.

Boston is one of the most expensive private universities at around $69,668 a year.
Billed expenses for the 2018/2019 academic year*
Tuition
$52,816
Room (depending on type of accommodation) $10,390
Board (most dining plans) $5,330
Fees $1,132
Total Estimated Expenses $69,668

She has big time student loans is what I read... however, if they "post turtle" her, like they did 0bama, they will pay her debt off like they did 0bama's.

0bama's was paid off in total without there being enough income from either he or Michelle at the time to be able to accomplish the full payment. 0bama claimed it was from his book deal, but I believe there was still a timeline problem.

Of course all 0bama's records were sealed, so if pubs are smart they will gather info on her now prior to Soros scrubbing all details of her life as an activist in the latino community and other stupid comments or opinion papers she may have written which will show just how inept her SJW education is.
