The Left's Hypocrisy

Boss 302

Pursuit Driver
Those of us who are conservatives have seen for years the hypocrisy of the Democrats by how the hold conservatives to a much higher standard than they hold themselves. A former Clinton official is going after Brett Kavanaugh on the grounds the justice was accused of misconduct because he will be a guest law professor this summer at George Mason University's law school. This Clinton official is making attempts to have him blocked as a guest lecturer. We all know how the left attempted to smear Kavanaugh's name during his confirmation hearings utilizing the MSM to "tar and feather" him in their reporting. The FBI investigation proved Kavanaugh to be innocent.

Here's the hypocrisy. Joe Biden has recently been accused by three women of inappropriate touching - sexual assault. There are many videos out there recorded by the MSM during their news coverage of White House events where he is seen standing behind women, touching them and whispering in their ears. There are also many videos of him touching little girls and stroking their hair and faces. If Biden were a Republican, the left would be screaming these are all examples of sexual assault on women and young girls. Biden isn't a Republican; he's a Democrat expected to announce his candidacy for president and they give him a pass.

The left also demonstrates their hypocrisy on the illegal immigration issue. Look at their reaction and comments on Trump's statement that he will ship illegals to sanctuary cities. We know Trump won't do that and the reason he did that was to play them and it's playing out just as he knew it would. The reactions from the left isn't, "We will gladly take them." It's quite the opposite. He did a brilliant job here exposing their hypocrisy on this important issue. Their reactions will no doubt be used by Republicans as part of their campaigns in 2020. The left doesn't understand how important securing the border is to the majority of the people in this country, and most importantly to the independent voters both parties need to cast their votes for them. Trump did an excellent job here exposing them.

It's such a double standard!

How about Bernie? Publicly, he's an advocate for income equality, yet he's become a millionaire recently.

Yep... he did not dedicate the proceeds of his book to any charitable organization did he? He did not have to have that pesky money go into his bank account, many authors put their cash where their heart is?????? Bernie?????? Bernie??????? You can also give the government additional money in your taxes I understand... nothing prevents that.

J. K. Rowling, author of the best-selling Harry Potter novels, has turned her writing talent to philanthropy, the New York Times reports. The initial print run of 12 million copies is expected to yield more than $36 million for the organization -- the largest single donation in its history.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard gives back to Rowling's children's charity Lumos, which believes that "no child should be denied a family life because they are poor, disabled or from an ethnic minority" and works to help the 8 million children institutionalized worldwide.

During February, Shannon M. Parker (aka S.M. Parker) will donate 100 percent of proceeds from pre-sales of her paperback edition of The Girl Who Fell (out February 28) to lovesisrespect, a cause that ties closely to the themes of the novel.
According to loveisrespect.org, the cause aims to "engage, educate and empower young people to prevent and end abusive relationships."

Nora Roberts has been consistently named the most charitable celebrity in the world. The Nora Roberts Foundation primarily focuses on literacy and education causes, with money directed toward ProLiteracy, Wikimedia Foundation, Literacy Council of Washington County Maryland, and First Book.

YA author Karen Fortunati is donating 50 percent of the proceeds from the February sales of The Weight of Zero to Active Minds, which works tirelessly to de-stigmatize mental illness in our society.

Dorothy Parker is QUEEN. Despite vehement protests from some people close to her (who then tried to stop further printing of her work), when Parker died she left her entire literary estate to Martin Luther King, Jr, with the stipulation that when he died, he would donate it to the NAACP. Parker's entire literary copyright is still held by the NAACP, after a 1972 court ruling stating that the late writer's wishes should stand.
