Work on the Dallas Hwy Garage renovation slowed over the summer with all the yard work and such, but I did frame out the two door openings and am installing the last ceiling fluorescent lights this weekend. I have a little TV underneath where the flat screen will hang.

This week I hung the Dallas Hwy.com banner above the work bench. It will keep it nice and flat until our next Dallas Hwy.com event...I be liking it. It's a cool addition to the garage :DN

The renovation continues 8) While building one of the walls, I had to leave the breaker box exposed for obvious reasons. The old green box looked stupid against the gray, black and diamond plate theme and no store bought cabinet doors would do. So, I built this nice little diamond plate door to cover it. ;D

I didn't have time to hang my Christmas present until Sunday afternoon, but it was worth the wait. Mrs. Colson thought I was a little crazy for wanting a 32" flat screen for the garage, but she finally saw the reasoning. Since I insulated the walls and installed insulated garage doors, it rarely gets below 66 degrees even on the coldest days. I work down there every weekend and the TV will make it that much better. Especially when the weather turns warm again 8)

Nice!

The car looks good too ...

Thanks, Bro. A guy who came by to give me an estimate on a sprinkler system asked me about it a week ago. I told him it was a 1994 and was actually old enough to drive itself. :))

Guard Dad is becoming a bad influence…but I Be Liking it!!! This little amp and new speakers really ROCKS the garage renovation. It's really coming along nicely considering it's been a 3 year "pay-go" project. Today we are planning to order Race Deck flooring to be installed as the weather gets warmer. It will be a graphite / royal blue checker pattern and will almost finish the renovation off. Only a little trim work will be required afterward.

At least when I throw the Dallas Hwy Garage Warming, we will be able to enjoy some serious tuneage! :DN :DN :DN

Uhh, the shelf is 1/16 of an inch low on the left side.

I set a level on it. The wall must be 1/16 of an inch askew :p

Ordered my Race Deck flooring today! :DN

I thought I'd posted my Race Deck photo after I installed it. This stuff is GREAT, durable and comfy to walk on. It's easy to clean and was literally a SNAP to put down.
