The Dallas Hwy Garage Renovation

How long have you been working on this? I'm beginning to think this has turned into one of those never ending guy projects...

About 18 months. You see, I operate like a conservate should. The pay-go system. Not like the democrats who spend money they don't have and leave tbe bill to their kids. 8)

Very nice GC!!!

Thank you deewee ;D
You need a peg board with your tools outlined on it. :D

Real tool guys don't do that. I'd need about 1000 feet of wall to hold all my tools.

Not true. The hubby has his tool boxes lined so that each tool has its own little cushioned spot to go into in each organized drawer. His years as a mechanic taught him to be organized and know when something was missing so he didn't waste time looking for something.

That's why we do this at work...

I do that.

The statement was about peg board.

Don't be knocking my peg board dude. It works. :D

Work is still on-going, but has slowed a little since the start of yard cuttin', bush trimmin', island cleanin' season.

One thing I've been wanting to include in the Dallas Hwy Garage renovation is a wall mounted vacuum. Mrs. Colson asked what I wanted for my birthday this year and I pointed to this (below) in a magazine.

It'll beat dragging out our old vacuum we keep in the closet downstairs. 30 feet of hose will reach just about anywhere around the garage I park. It will also be handy cleaning off the work bench. The easy, "un-clip" bottom of the catch tank will also make for easy dumping. I'll let you know how it works 8)

I've been here from the start, so tell me how in the world I've missed a 14 page thread?

You haven't seen this thread on Colson's garage at all? Wow. Of course, he does post sporadically, so perhaps you were always otherwise-occupied.

Hmmm...that vacuum looks pretty nice. I have Daddy's ShopVac, which I just unplug and roll around as needed.
