If they do I'll pay for next year's Hwy renewal. (You can save this for future reference)It'll go up when they win the World Series this year.

Tigers are half a game out of first. You can slow down on saving the pennies. They have now lost 2 in a row. Overall 4-11.
So they can trade the good ones next year. This is interesting...
What Would Atlanta Look Like Without The Rebuild?

Maybe they should just bring up all those from the minors and let them learn on the job this year.
I just wish they had been honest and said that they were shooting for the 2017 season. Of course then they wouldn't have sold any season tickets for two years. I'm also more than a little concerned that they are too optimistic about 2017 also. I certainly don't see the key pieces in place or the awesome minor league talent that I saw in 1990. Maybe some guys will get fired up later in the season and if they can make some good moves this winter they will get there.
All I recall them saying was that they had to make salary cap room. That was a fact, they did. But then when they started to buy a lot of minor league talent with that money they still pointed to some of the veterans as proof that they would be competitive in 2015 and 2016 even though the reality was that they probably wouldn't.I thought they did say they were rebuilding with the expectation of being competitive in 2017. Based on how young much of the minor league talent is, it may be 2018 before they actually think about the wildcard or division.
About time Fredi was fired....
Finding out you’ve been fired is never easy, but imagine finding out the way that Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez did late Monday.
An hour or so after the Braves’ 8-5 series-opening loss to the Pirates, a person familiar with the situation said Gonzalez received an email notifying him of his scheduled flight to Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon.
That was a bad sign, since the four-game series in Pittsburgh runs through Thursday
That doesn't surprise me. The front office hasn't done anything right in a while, why start now.
