Sweet Christmas Treats...

I am not much of a sweets person... but we have a tradition of making gifts
of sweet treats for our friends and neighbors on the week before Christmas.

This year we are making:

Hubby's Famous Peanut Butter Balls
Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Candy Choco Mint Sugar Cookies
Madea's Banana Bread Muffin Recipe

Share your favorite Christmas goodies ? ? ?

Awww, I'm honored the banana bread made your list. It's the best recipe I've tried and my family really enjoys it too. I don't make it very often because the bananas rarely last long here. And, I can't complain because I'd rather they just eat the bananas. :))

I've been freezing the brown bananas for two months to make these muffins... :))

I am marking White Chocolate candy cane bark, mini cookie cakes with a peanutbutter in the middle.Chocolate covered pretzel sticks

after my ediable arrangement I am gonna try one for my momma..that way if it turns out crappy she will still tell me she loves it

So far in the last week, Mrs. Mac has made 7 different types of cookies and cakes.

Including one of my favorites, the Neiman Marcus cookies.

Friday nite I made 7 layer bars/Hello Dolly bars. They are delish!!! I'm gonna get more sweetened condensed milk to make more. I'm thinking of packaging then in tins for some peeps. I've got plenty of the rest if ingredients left over.

It's yummylicious goodness! Here's a link to the recipe I used...

Those sound yummy!! All of this does. :lickingmylips:

We made about 16 dozen cookies today, my Kitchenaid mixer worked flawlessly!!! :cheer1 :cheer1 :cheer1 :cheer1

Yay! I don't have a mixer so I don't make anything that calls for a mixer. What cookies did you make? I bet it smells yummy over there!

Traditional Hershey's fudge, turtles, cheese straws, ginger cookies, wedding cookies, take your pick, I've spent that past two weeks baking and cooking stuff every night. Now that I've done all of the baskets and bags, I'm enjoying my nights!

Last year my fudge would have put someone into a diabetic coma with one bite. I ended up throwing it all away, the kids wouldn't even eat it. I've never perfected a fudge recipe. :dunno

I know most people love fudge, but I've never cared for it. People look at me like I have horns growing out of my head when they find out I don't like it...lol.
