Stradial posted in that thread about how he saw God, when he was younger. It got me to thinking about how we view God vs. the truth of who He is.
I know we all struggle, occasionally, with how we view God. We are human, and have finite minds, and understanding. There are often times other things that can skew our views of God, such as in my case. My dad was a strict disciplinarian. Still is, and still thinks I'm 5 years old and have to corrected. I love my dad dearly, but I don't think he will ever change on this point.
Because of that I often struggle with my view of the grace of God. I think it's for everybody else, but me, and have to constantly remind myself that is wrong thinking.
Soooo, I was just wondering what others struggle with in their perception of God?
