Sooo, Little RNG is having a pool party here Saturday night and she wants certain kinds of music that is most easily gotten from streaming over the internet.

As most of you have learned, I have this serious sound system out back, and all the amps and stuff live in our laundry room which is on the other side of the wall from my deck. I use a remote control extender to control it from outside.

Sooo, I take my back-up laptop and put it in the laundry room and use Tunein Radio to stream the music off WiFi. Then, I use my other laptop and some remote access software to control the music laptop from outside on the deck (or from anywhere that has internet access) so we can change channels, etc.

My name is Guard Dad and I am a nerd.
 
You're like half the guys in the dorm at Tech. Their stereos were worth more than their cars.

And by the way, you and I just need to make a date to meet. We've raised our boys through 4 years at the SAME SCHOOL, passed each other who knows how many times, and we STILL haven't met in person. Let's just do it!

iN MY DAY WE JUST TOOK A BOOM BOX, PLUGGED IT IN WITH AN EXTENSION CORD AND HIT PLAY ON OUR MIXED TAPE( SOMETIMES i WOULD WAIT ALL DAY FOR THE RADIO TO PLAY A CERTAIN SONG)
