Friends wanted to go on a cheap cruise together. So when do they pick? One next week. To Mexico. Scheduled to get there on Wed morning.

I look at the Tropical Weather map this evening and guess where Harvey is predicted to go. Guess when it's supposed to hit. Just guess, I'll give you one.

Now I understand why Caribbean cruises are so cheap in the peak Hurricane season.

Now where did I put those Motion sickness patches...
 
They actually recommend that you buy a burner to take out of the country anyway. The border patrol has taken to going through everyone's phone now, even US citizens. Eff da man!!
 
Well, it was interesting, but our Captain was de man and dodged both storms. We had a few showers on the sea days but that was it. Very few waves even. Leaving Cozumel he headed due East until we were dead south of Mobile then traveled north so that the hurricane was off to the west.

Good time was had by all.
