Years ago, my late sister had a water cyst the size of a golf ball removed from her brain and a drain installed. The whole ordeal left her with a mild stutter, and sometimes we just had to be patient when conversing with her, but she could sing songs perfectly clear. This tells me a different part of the brain controls speech than does singing,,, which makes me wonder why.
