Ok, sorry for the drama.

You know these cheap Chinese park benches we've all probably bought for our yards and the wood rots out in about a year?

This one just fell apart after a couple of years. The ends are fine, they're cast iron. But the wood was Chinese junk. So I painted the cast iron, and put on all new pressure treated boards held on by galvanized carriage bolts. Way stronger than the original and should last for years.
