Rahm Emanuel off Mayoral Ballot

Rolling down the highway
 Apparently Rahm has been given the boot. It has been declared he was not an Illinois resident! LOL

An appeals court in Chicago ruled Monday that Rahm Emanuel doesn't meet the residency requirements to run for mayor of Chicago and ordered his name be pulled off the ballot. The three judge panel voted 2-1 against Emanuel.

In a major blow to Emanuel's campaign, Monday's ruling overturned a Cook County Circuit Court ruling that upheld a Chicago Board of Elections decision to let Emanuel run in the February 22nd election.

OK, not sure this is real but having lived in Chicago and heard some of the horrible language that is the norm up there. Here's a link to his "supposed twitter account".

Warning the language is foul, foul, foul.

Yea, I don't think it is either but you know I'm not kidding about the foul mouths in the Chicago area.

Dang! Hate that for him.

Bless his heart.

Now, what did you guys have for supper? :D

now it appears he is back on the ballot....what the crap...

I believe there was a ruling by another court that said his name had to be on the ballot until his appeal was heard. Does not mean he has won.

I think they halted printing of the ballots until the ISC makes a decision if it will hear the case. If he gets on the ballot, I'd be willing to say not much has changed in Chicago in the 30 years since I've been gone. ;)
