QUINOA recipes

Justgettingby's quinoa recipe made me pick some up today. I just made the quinoa (please let it fast better than it smells) and I'm about to toss it with feta, tomatoes, red onions, and Zoe's Kitchen's Greek dressing. I don't eat cucumbers.

I doubt it is as fast as it smells.
Doesn't it just lay there in the bowl?

Just for the record, we have had our Quinoa for several weeks.
We are waiting for the price to go up and then we will sell.

Yay!!! There are so many quick and easy variations you can make with it too. The first time I cooked Quinoa, I hated the look of it with the weird spirally like tails on it. It freaked me out. But after eating it once, I was hooked!

I have to be honest... I was very hesitant to a thallus eat it. LOL the smell and the look kinda freaked me out. I had that, which was mostly veggies, and a sliced apple with peanut butter for dinner.

For dinner, I made quinoa but cooked it in low sodium chicken broth. I added two cloves minced garlic, and brought to a boil. Tossed in fresh kale and cooked. Oh. Yum.

BabyB and I have been eating a lot of kale lately but as chips. Except BabyB eats it raw (yuck!), but I tossed some in soup he other day and it was good, too.

We are still saving our quinoa for the great quinoa shortage sure to come.
