It's looking like we're headed for another stalemate. Some of Trump's people have been coming forward saying he WILL build the wall one way or another. Apparently, there are 2 or 3 ways he can legally get the funds.
 
My money is on the Trumpster. He will get enough approval to claim he followed through with his promise. It’s really that simple. He means what he says, eventually people will start believing it.
 
No, he will build a few miles of a wall somewhere, say it is the best wall ever, and claim total victory. It's like you people have never heard the man talk. :)
 
He will get it done one way or another...

I drove over to SC and back today... best use of a rainy day with no calls to run.
Listened to Rush and Hannity and Ericsson...

I believe Trump has LOTS of options he can do...
The question is which one (or ones) he chooses.

Something to consider:
The 2020 election campaign is already on...
Both POTUS and Congress...
Most of what is being done...
Is based on winning this group or that group.

So, IMO, it is not as simple as one issue... or just winning.
 
I just saw an article saying Trump was not happy with the bill because it only provides less than 1.5 billion for the wall, but that he will likely sign it.
 
DJT's bluff has been called. I am pissed because he could have gotten the funding (at least had a better shot) in his first two years but he, Bitch McDonald and the RINO House sat on their collective asses and tweeted about crooked Hillary while Rome burned. He is a horrible politician but a world class BSer. He has no idea whatsoever how politics work in Washington and could not corral his own party to do what needed to be done while they held the HOR. I truly hope I am wrong but we will see.
 
It does appear that Trump miscalculated this one

But who knows, this might be the outcome he wanted so he can say he had to do it another way.

One thing I've learned is not to underestimate Trump.
 
Here is a scenario...

Trump has already changed his slogan from:

Build the Wall

to

Finish the Wall

Now it is easy to google and find proof the wall IS BEING BUILT as we speak...
And polls say a significant majority of American Citizens WANT the wall!

I wonder what it is gonna look like in 2020...
When Trump runs adds showing the wall he is building... with documented facts as to the promised things a wall provides (lower crime, lower drugs, etc)...
And all the left can do... is promise higher taxes, no more air travel, more illegals (and more crime), attempt to stop cows from farting... and a host more of their BS.

Something we have learned about Trump...
He generally has a plan B... and a plan C... and maybe even a plan D...
Yet unlike most polecats (remember, Trump is NOT a politician)... he does NOT tell folks what he is up to... he just does it.
