Some of you might have critters that you're attached to. Wifey and I were just talking about our doggy, she's getting old (around 13) and we realize that she might not have too many years left. She's not just a dog, she's an extremely intelligent and good natured part of our family. Daughter mentioned when she was here at Christmas that she wishes she could clone the pooch and have a carbon-copy puppy when she moves into her house.
So in our discussions, the reality hit us that she'll leave us some day, and there will be a big hole in our hearts when she's gone. We could get another pet, but it's doubtful that she'll be the caliber of dog that this one is....filled with love and almost human at times.
Here's to "Aussie"
