House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called for President Trump's immediate removal from office by way of the 25th Amendment for inciting a violent riot at the Capitol Wednesday in an attempt to stop the certification of President-elect Joe Biden's win.

Pence is a constitutional conservative. His opposition to squashing the electorial vote was I think based on the fact he believes it would be an abuse of power and against the constitution as written. I believe he looks at applying the 25th as the same bastardization of the letter of constitutional law. Say what you want about Mr.Pence but he is an honest man (for a politician) of character compared to the rest of the swamp/administration. DJT has once again opened Pandora's box when he opened his fat pie hole. How many times do you shoot yourself in the foot thinking it won't hurt this time. Is that not the definition of insanity?

I would agree with that assessment. Sure, we were disappointed that Pence passed on the opportunity to change the course of the election but I for one still respect him for doing what he felt was correct, regardless of pressure from all sides. I had respect for him before Jan 6 and it remains.
