Our Church needs an overhead projector

We are looking for an overhead projector to use to enlarge pictures to draw on butcher paper for vacation bible school.

If you happen to run across more than one, or you'd be interested in renting/loaning out the one you end up with ... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let me know!!
 
Or if you find one before us can we use it? LOL ;D

We still have not found one. The new ones are just more than what we need. We dont want to spend that much money just to use it once a year.
 
I've got a computer projector which I've used to do the same thing before, your welcome to borrow it if it will work for ya.
 
Not anymore, not in Paulding. Thank the fine folks that refuse to take proper care of them while they had them checked out. The county was having to spend too much money on them keeping them in working order so eventually they stopped fixing them and as they crashed they were removed from service. There are now none left.

Really ... how hard is it to take proper care of something you borrow?
 
I'm sure people dropped them or damaged the plugs/wires ... broke the mirrors/glass ... who knows what all else. I'm just telling you what the fine folks at the library have told me on more than one occasion and at more than one branch.

The bulbs for them are expensive as heck. They're easy to break as well.
 
Thanks UM. I am still looking for one. I have checked the library... and you are right they dont do it anymore. So how did ur bid go on that one?
 
I got outbid on it. I found something else recently that might work. I'm testing it out and I'll let you know.
 
Sounds great. Let me know. And if I can find one at a thrift store or yard sale, then I will let ya know.
