Quick, someone call the Weather Channel and request they run a special report on the rain forecasted for the next 72 hours...so it will stop.

I had lunch at a Zaxby's today...
LOVE their grilled Cobb salad... good for the waist line too...
And it has BACON... albeit not enough... grin

This particular restaurant has a problem with the TV...
As some of the patrons want to watch FOX news... and some of the patrons want to watch CNN news...
I have been in there when a customer literally cursed at the manager on duty for refusing to change the channel...
(I will leave it to your imagination to determine which channel was on and which one the rude patron wanted... grin)

Anyhow back on the topic of the thread...
The TV was on the Weather Channel today (smart move IMO)...
I was watching weather patterns during lunch.
Here in the metro Atlanta area, we are just missing some serious weather!!!
It seems to come across from Texas and Louisiana and Mississippi and Alabama...
Yet it heads NE before it gets to us...
Arkansas and Tennessee and Kentucky are getting hammered...
Yet we seem to get the edge of it...
In my area (NE burbs)... most of the time the real weather is less extreme than the forecast.
Note I am NOT complaining.... :)

I am not sure what or why... however for a year or more now...
Severe weather has struck all around us... yet the city has been spared.
Whatever we are doing... lets keep doing it!

just 2 hours up the freeway....... 36+ inches of snow in Flagstaff.

our son is in his senior year at NAU (flagstaff).... but he's tackling his last semester here in Phoenix.

he's happy to be missing the blizzard.....

Just saw on channel 5nthat Ellijay got over 8 inches. I hope the river decknis still there when I get back up. Also not happy about discovering a roof leak right before I couldn't fix it for over a wet week.

Yeah, Blue Ridge Lake is up over 5 ft in 3 days, and they just stopped releasing water. Folks are bracing for another 3 ft or so minimum. Carter's is way up too, they closed the boat ramps.
