My butt is tired!

Spent the night with Guard Daughter last night and we all headed to Dogtown Alabama this morning to get three rooms of furniture. We were loaded! Then came back to unpack it and move it all into the house.

Just got home at about 10:00 PM.

Well that explains why your arms, legs and back should be tired. But please, keep the details of why your backside is tired to yourself... I'm good with not knowing those details!! :whistle

Okay, crazy question I know, but I will ask anyway. Why did your daughter not have the furniture delivered and why Alabama? Is the difference in prices on furniture (I saw Ashley boxes) so much cheaper in Alabama it offsets the gas (as in fuel for your truck!) cost to have to pick it up and drive it home? :dunno

So is this for their vacation home?
;)

I'm tired too. Sat on the couch all day yesterday. My butt was worn out too!

You're assuming that they bought it.
Coulda been one of those interstate furniture heists.

There is a place there called Akin Furniture that is much cheaper than anywhere around here. They priced the same stuff here but saved over $2000 by going there to get it. The trailer is mine, so the cost to go get it was mostly just the gas.

Quit giving away all the secrets. LOL My husband's family has always bought furniture at Dogtown. We bought our kitchen table and chairs there several years ago. Very reasonable and good stuff.

I didn't see you at church today GD.

I just saw your post on FB, didn't know you were going. I got in late last night with a truck full of furniture, so I didn't make it.
