I watched and listened to all of Trump's speech last night. Today, the Dems are saying his speech was divisive. I didn't get that at all.
"Can someone remind Trump that the 'mayhem' he’s talking about is happening during his own presidency?" the DNC War Room Twitter account posted. Can someone remind the the twit who tweeted this, that the rioting is occurring in cities run by Democrats: Democrats and MSM reporters who called these riots "peaceful protests" while buildings burned and people looted businesses. Cities where the Democrat leadership refused Trump's offer of federal assistance to quell the violence; instead letting the violence get worse. Democrat mayors who are caving into the demands of BLM and are defunding their police departments.
Sanders added: "What is not right is looting, is burning communities, is violence and we denounced the violence." Bernie has waited more than two months to denounce the violence; only now because the polls show voters are tired of it and see the Democrat leadership as weak.
"For folks watching, what Donald Trump is saying, he is fear mongering right now. He is essentially painting immigrants as folks who we don't want in this country," Sanders said in reaction to a point Trump made on Biden's plan to "increase refugee admissions."
Trump addressed that during his administration, thousands of gang members have been deported and thousands of others who have committed crimes here have also been deported. Democrats on the other hand have provided their cities as sanctuaries for illegals who have robbed, raped, and killed our citizens while in this country.
Sanders chooses to ignore the fact Trump supports immigration - legal immigration. Laws set a process in place on how people from other lands can immigrate to this country. The Dems want open borders for a reason. They know it would make more people dependent upon the government because there would never be enough jobs to employ everyone. The more people coming into the country; the more people dependent upon the government. The more people dependent upon the government; the easier it is for the government to have more control of the people.
"Let me just be really clear," Sanders continued. "Senator Kamala Harris is a child of immigrants so we know that this country, immigrants are part of what makes America great and Donald Trump obviously doesn't understand that." Sanders obviously chooses to ignore the fact her parents immigrated here legally. They were vetted. Immigration laws were enacted to keep undesirable people out: convicted criminals, those wanted for crimes in other countries, those with diseases, those tied to terrorist organizations, etc.
If anyone is being divisive in this country; it's long been the Democrats. They have always used divisive messages in their campaigns to incite class warfare and political warfare.
