Watched it last night, was kind of a disappointment. If "felt" very different from the other Transformer movies, almost like it was don't by a whole different studio.

The human characters changed, and we were really OK with that. The guy who was the new main human was interesting and we thought he did a good job. The problem was with the Transformers themselves and the writing. Some of the characters were pretty hokey and the writing was sub-par. It felt more like a lower budget kids movie than the other ones did.

The plot kinda ripped of an idea from Iron Man, and it was way too obvious. But, it was kind of interesting.

And there's an attempt at the end of the movie to tie this franchise in with another Hasbro movie. We'll see if it works.

But, we really didn't enjoy it a lot. I found myself playing on the phone a lot. I give it 2 out of 5 stars. Now, we didn't pay anything to watch it, so no loss. But I would not buy tickets to see it.
